Short description: Claudia Amato is a legal English trainer and former lawyer, admitted to the Bar in Italy. She prepares students for the TOLES (Test of Legal English Skills) exam series and has trained lawyers, judges, law students, and teams at international law firms in Italy and abroad, including a Ministry of Labour-supervised programme in Oman. She has coached law students for the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition and is Vice-President of EULETA, the European Legal English Teachers Association.
ELSA experience: At ELSA Italy career fairs, Claudia delivered sessions on CV writing and interview preparation in English for law students and young lawyers. The sessions focused on how to present legal qualifications, experience, and skills accurately to English-speaking employers, using the vocabulary and conventions of the legal profession.
