As part of ELSA Training, ELSA is organising International Trainers’ Pool Events on an annual basis.
If you are interested in becoming an ITP Trainer or you currently are an ITP Trainer interested in enhancing
your knowledge and experience, you will find all the information you need below.
ITP Events
The Train the Trainers Event aims to recruit new trainers to the International Trainers’ Pool.
It is held annually and is open to anyone interested in educating and supporting the current and future generations of ELSA Officers.
After successful participation at the Train the Trainers Event, based on the results and feedback of the hosting trainer(s) of the event, the International Board of ELSA
appoints new trainers to the International Trainers’ Pool for an initial three years.
Individuals interested in becoming an ITP Trainer should be able to evidence or develop the following skills: English language proficiency, relevant ELSA experience,
relevant skills for specific training sessions, presentation skills, public speaking skills and mentoring skills.

The Refreshment Weekend is meant to conserve and enhance the quality of the International Trainers’ Pool.
In principle, it is held annually during the Train the Trainers Event, offering a unique opportunity for the ITP Trainers to gather and work together.
The sessions of the event are hosted by experienced ITP Trainers or training providers who are partners of ELSA.
The academic programme for the event is developed by ELSA International and the International Trainers’ Pool itself.
