Short description:Maja is a final year law and digital economy LLM candidate at University of Strasbourg, although originally from Belgrade, Serbia. Before joining the International Trainers’ Pool in 2021 and becoming a trainer, Maja was Vice President in charge of Academic Activities of the International Board of ELSA, and an active national and local officer before that. Maja is currently working in the field of law and technology in a Swiss law firm and focuses her practice on IP law, tech contracts, legal design and data protection. Goals of her training sessions is to engage all the participants, make training interactive and interesting, while creating a safe environment for everyone. In her free time, you can find her in a Zumba class, on a long walk listening to the newest tech/environment-related podcasts, advocating for gender equality, or trying out new vegan recipes.
ELSA experience: Maja has been an active ELSA Officer since 2018. Firstly, she was appointed Deputy Vice President in charge of Academic Activities of her Local Group, ELSA Strasbourg, and the following year (2019/2020) she was elected Vice President in charge of Academic Activities of ELSA France. Besides that, Maja was holding a position of the ENC Coach in the ELSA International Team the same year. During the 2020/2021 term, Maja was serving as Vice President in charge of Academic Activities of the International Board of ELSA. Finally, since the 2021/2022 term, she is a member of the ITP, as well as the Advisory Body member.
