Short description: Mirko graduated from the Faculty of Law University of Montenegro in 2009. The same year he got elected as Vice President of European Law Students’ Association (ELSA International). Upon returning to Montenegro he was elected as teaching assistant at the University of Donja Gorica (Montenegro), where he was teaching European Union Law, EU Anti-discrimination law and Human Rights as well as Political System of Montenegro. At the University of Belgrade, he earned his MA degree in EU Integration Law. He was a visiting researcher at the Center for Ethics and Law in Biomedicine at CEU Budapest. In 2017 he received Japanese Government Scholarship (MEXT) for his research on New Technologies Law and biomedicine. In Japan he graduated LL.M. program at Kyushu University. Currently, he is a doctoral candidate at the Central European University. His research focuses on biomedical technology, bioethics and law. In 2016 he was a recipient of the National Excellence Award by Government of Montenegro. He is a recipient of the Montenegrin Academy of Science and Arts award for his achievements in research and academy. During his career, besides teaching, Mirko worked as a consultant on several international and national NGO or University projects. In addition, Mirko worked as an external consultant and legal expert for the European Commission. Currently, he is National Consultant for Council of Europe. Mirko is a Teaching Assistant at the CEU School of Public Policy as well as Human rights teacher at CEU Romani Studies Program.
